Technical Share App - FCamara Hackaton
This was the first hackaton that I’ve participated in! The challenge was to create an online mentoring scheduling platform for a company, where junior employees could schedule meetings with senior employees, to discuss career improvement and ask for help in projects. It would also includes a chat tool for direct interaction betweem mentors and mentees.
My role was as a Front-End Developer and I used HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, and API’s to create the UI’s and manage data between client and server. It was an amazing opportunity, that allowed me to gain hands-on experience in a real-world tech role and to collaborate with a team in a daily basis.
For around 2 weeks we had regular meetings to discuss the project, and used scrum agile technique to get the project delivered on time. To manage the schedule we used the app Trello and to keep connected with the team we used discord.
